Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026. This is a starting template written for QR Studio. Have a lawyer review it before you rely on it.

What we collect

• Account: name, email address and a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
• Your designs: the QR content you enter (for example a UPI ID, link or Wi-Fi details), poster text, style choices, and any logos or theme images you upload.
• Orders: order number, amount, status, time, and the UTR you submit.
• Technical: IP address, browser type and session information, used for security, rate limiting and fixing problems.
• Scan counts: for dynamic QRs we count how many times the short link is opened. We do not store who scanned.

Payment emails

To confirm UPI payments we read payment confirmation emails that arrive in our own payments mailbox. We keep only the amount, UTR, time and payer name shown in those emails. We do not read your mailbox, and we never ask for your UPI PIN or bank login.

How we use it

To run your account, render and deliver your designs, confirm payments, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Uploads

Images you upload are re-encoded and stored privately for your account. Custom themes and logos can only be used by you. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use.

Who sees it

Only the TeamDev team, and only where needed to run and support the service. We use hosting and email providers who process data on our behalf. We may share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in. It is needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Account data and saved designs stay until you delete them or your account. Order and payment records are kept for accounting and dispute handling. Security logs are kept for a short time.

Your choices

You can change your password, delete saved QRs and themes, or delete your account from your dashboard. For access or correction requests, email teamdevmail@gmail.com.

Security

Passwords are hashed with scrypt, sessions use secure random tokens, and uploads are re-encoded before storage. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password.

Children

QR Studio is not meant for children under 13.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
